New work in Brazil

Hard at work in the studio, Bob is preparing for his next show in São Paulo, Brazil.  Showing April 7th through May 5th, the solo exhibition will display Bob’s sculptural work on reclaimed woods from the Brazilian rainforest.  Bob made several trips to Brazil in the last year to work on these Standards which are exclusive to Brazil. Steel bases are being constructed to allow the standards to be free standing and give a 360 degree view of the piece.

Along side the sculpture, Bob’s newest series, Minúcia (Portuguese for minute detail) will be shown.  The series gained its title from all the small moments that Bob recorded in journals from his many trips along the Amazon River and throughout the rainforest.  Bob has interpreted these captured memories on wood veneer.
